Method

The Loco Method

The Loco Method focuses on simplicity, efficiency, and standardization. While we don't believe in following frameworks for the sake of it, we do believe that structure applied thoughtfully can lead to better project outcomes. The Loco Method combines the best principles and methodologies from several frameworks to create one simplified approach grounded in continuous collaboration.

P3 Analysis

More often than not, the reason for failed software deployments is related to failing to accurately diagnose the problem.

We segment challenges into three buckets: process, people, and product, with an emphasis on process. The identified problems serve as the foundation for your roadmap and new system.

Stems from misaligned and/or undocumented workflows.

Process problems are the most overlooked, yet most damaging to overall organization efficiency.  While many are quick to blame the tool, the underlying issue can most certainly be tied back to a particular process problem.

Stems from politics, unclear roles, and bad behavior.

People problems are another large contributing factor. While you can create a system that helps facilitate work, if people don't know what work they are supposed to be doing it causes chaos that even the best tool cannot solve.

Stems from legacy systems, spreadsheets, and bad design.

There are cases when the product truly is the problem. Whether it's a legacy spreadsheet, or a citizen developed tool - there are sometimes major structural deficiencies that then cause people and process problems.

LeanFlow

An adapted and simplified version of BPMN 2.0 that focuses on visual clarity over strict adherence to rules. This methodology features a reduced symbol set, relaxed rules, and the blending of technical details to create a more approachable method for process modeling.

D6 Framework

The D6 Framework is an agile-based execution framework that focuses on rapid prototyping as a tool for collaboration throughout the discovery and design phases. This approach focuses on iterative discovery and deployment to prevent misalignment while promoting speed.

Design

We begin framing your solution using ArcBlocks, our solution accelerators designed to help go from idea to prototype quickly.

Demo

We present the evolving proof-of-concept to help flesh out requirements and determine what's ready for development, and what needs more discovery.

Deploy

We provide documentation, training, and ongoing tools to help support your deployed system.

Discover

Discovery isn't just a phase; it's continuous. We work to gather requirements, uncover problems, and define objectives.

Develop

Leveraging designs, requirements, and the POC we begin filling in the holes building out the infrastructure to get the system production ready.

Dilligence

We conduct quality testing, and multiple rounds of acceptance testing to ensure the product is aligning with defined outcomes.
